Front door leading to a storm porch and an inner hall with generous storage. Doors lead off the hall into the downstairs double bedroom or to the living room. Both main rooms are timber panelled with mountain views. The living room has a Woodburning stove, colour TV / DVD and mini hi-fi. There is also a selection of books, games, CD's and DVD's available at the cottage.

From the living room an inner lobby leads to the newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room, a heated drying closet, and the downstairs bathroom with bath and over-bath shower.

A door from the living room leads to a galleried stair to the two first floor bedrooms. Both are room-in-roof with sloping ceilings and Velux windows with mountain views furnished as one double and one twin room.

Gas central heating throughout with a combi-boiler providing heat and hot water. Please note there is a filtered private water supply drawn from the stream feeding a hill tank. A modern UV water filter is fitted to the kitchen supply, which has been tested by the local authority as safe to drink. Bottled drinking water can be purchased locally if you prefer.

The former Byre provides ample lockable covered storage for bicycles, kayaks etc.

There is no telephone at the cottage, however there are pay-phones in the village. Mobile phone reception varies but is fine on some networks including Vodafone.
