A traditional rural hillside self catering holiday cottage set in splendid isolation on the slopes of Garbhein mountain overlooking the village of Kinlochleven and the sea loch, with far-reaching views north over the Mamore mountain ranges.

The cottage is ideally located as a holiday base for hill-walking, climbing, boating, cycling, fishing, relaxing or exploring the history and landscapes of the south-west Highlands and islands.

Originally a Stalkers’ cottage, the property is believed to date back to the late 1800s. It has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and bath/shower room, and gas central heating. However the rustic character of this charming cottage has been retained.

Kinlochleven is located within 7 miles of Glencoe and 20 miles from the town of Fort William. The West Highland Way passes through the village and there is walking available for all levels from the door.

Kinlochleven offers shops (including a post office with cash point), bistro, hairdresser, pubs and hotel-restaurants as well as the Ice Factor climbing centre, where indoor climbing tuition is available on dry or ice walls. The Ice Factor also offers Steam and Sauna facilities, an outdoor clothing shop, bistro and bar.
