Cottage
Garbhein Cottage is a traditional hillside holiday cottage in the heart of the western highlands of Scotland, close to Glencoe and makes an ideal base for exploring the mountains, glens and coast of this beautiful area. Originally a Stalker’s cottage and byre, the main Cottage sleeps six, and the recently converted former Byre sleeps two.
The property dates from the late 1800s, and retains its rustic charm. Set in splendid isolation on the slopes of Garbhein mountain overlooking the village of Kinlochleven and the sea loch, with far-reaching views north over the Mamore mountain range. Although secluded, Kinlochleven village is only a couple of minutes drive, or 10 minute walk away, and provides a good range of facilities including shops, a post office with cash point, a hairdressers, pubs, hotels and bistro, as well as the Ice Factor climbing centre.
The properties may be booked separately or together, and each enjoys privacy with dedicated gardens and parking.
